New Isabella What am I waiting for?

Really, the convention came to me... 13 months ago

...by being held here this year. I volunteered to help out today, and now I am exhausted. But I’m glad I went.

Conventions are fun 19 months ago

I have been to conventions before for different things, but my favourite was the MCM Expo in London back in 2006. I had lots of fun meeting celebrities from films and getting a goodie bag and lots of anime merchandise.
I am going again this year so I am very much looking forward to it.

Everyone should find a convention for something they really enjoy, trust me you will probably have a great time.

My aim in the future is to go to more conventions and to cosplay hopefully.

Wow, haven’t updated my 43things in a while. I went to the convention, it wasn’t that big, but it was quite fun. Was meaning to go again to the spring convention, but I think I just missed that. Fall convention I’m probably going to go to, and hopefully find some other conventions to start attending.

They are quite fun, if you can afford them. Lots of interesting people to meet.

I went to Coventry for the Asylum convention and it was amazing. I had so much fun and the guests were all so great. I’m so glad I went.

Well, I might be going to a Christian Youth convention early next year. I really wanted my first convention to be something different, like.. AnthroCon, AnimeCon, or a RenFestival, I guess this is good, too.

No clue what it’s going to be like, or about, really, so I’m not sure on going.. :]

I went to the Horrofind Convention! 3 years ago

Not only was it a total trip, but I met with celebrities and got advice about show biz. Lloyd Kauffman handed me a book and said “Make your own damn movie!!!”, John “Crypt-keeper” Kassir told me how to get into voice over work and my wife learned a few things about paranormal investigation.

There were also film premiers and a costume contest. It is held in August in Baltimore. If you like horror films or just like to hang out with odd people, go there!
