The Hockey Sweater – Roch Carrier

That is one I just finished reading.. in English. (I’m from Québec! Of course I’ve read it before!) It’s actually a French picture book translated by some lady.. who I forgot the name.. Anyway ! We should all read it, in English or in French.

So for your general culture, guys, I post you the link to listen to it on youtube, read by Roch Carrier himself! Enjoy!

By the way, yes, that’s where my nickname comes from :)

Three books so far! Thanks to University (and to the course: Children’s Lit)

Shiloh – Phyllis Reynolds Naylor
Coraline – Neil Gaiman
The Giver – Lois Lowry

I also read many picture books like: Madeline, If you give a mouse a cookie, The tales of Peter Rabbit, some modern versions of fairy tales.. In brief.. I can’t list them all.. :)

I would not consider my course notes as great literature but.. I’ve read more English texts (let’s say) in the last 3 weeks than I’ve done in my whole life.. This is like half way to achievement..

First English book ever: Animal Farm by George Orwell..

I got some books at home that I should read.. but I don’t choose them because there are in English..

But I love English ..

I need to be encouraged !!
