I’m trained, I’ve yet to have it as my full time job title though. I have a few weddings booked and with any luck soon I’ll have a website and can really start trying to get it somewhere. I have a rough road ahead but one day I aim to get there.

Glambabie is wishing everyone a happy Thanksgiving!
I have been thinking about this for awhile and I am going to start looking into finding some classes. Maybe I can find a job in a florist shop first then go from there… I love flowers so much and this would incorporate something creative too! I think it would be a good fit for me.
I have looked into becoming a florist. Sounds unusual for me but I figured sence I love flowers I should look into it! It’s gonna cost me about 600.00 but the way I see it it’ll pay for itself eventually! My husband says once I find a job he’ll help me pay for classes!
Im currently working on a letter t send out t local [and not so local florists] in the hope that they may take me on so I can gain some experience before I take a course in floristry. Im currently studying art and have been for many years – just signed on to another course for another 3 -and alot of my life revolves around been creative, I only hope that there are people out there who are willing t give me a chance t ‘bloom’ [sorry] in this job. So fingers crossed :)
My plan is to go to college for Floral design in September – work in floral shops – and then when I have my own home open up my own shop from my house . I like the idea of working with flowers and having a creative job . I worked in a floral department , it was one of my favorite jobs.

we made in class this week…like this astromarious with mini carnations and hydragenias we made in a small piece of oasis foam. Leah told us to always face the flower up toward the sun because if you have any flowers with their face pointing toward the ground, people will think the flower is dead!
