Went to bed at 2 a.m. last night. I don’t feel too bad about it because my best friend was over and he was finishing up the back of his chainmail hauberk. Still managed to get up at 7:30 today so I’m maintaining at least one part of my goal.

Went to bed around 10 p.m. last night, got up at 6:30 this morning to take my fiancee to work. I think I’m going to head out and get some coffee and maybe swing by my moms. So far so good, this beats going to bed at 2 a.m. and waking up at 9.

Managed to pry myself out of bed at 7:00 a.m. again today, didn’t get to bed until midnight last night, but thats an improvement over 2 a.m. so yay. Showered and shaved and am now worshiping a pot of coffee.

Went to bed at 12:30 and woke up at 7:00 a.m. Showered and shaved. We’re off to a good start.

I have been getting up before noon consistently but still not up as early as I would like. I found a few articles online that I’m trying to work with. This one http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2005/05/how-to-become-an-early-riser/ might work well for me because it says to not try to force yourself to sleep. But I do need to get up at a set time.

And this article http://www.stevepavlina.com/blog/2006/04/how-to-get-up-right-away-when-your-alarm-goes-off/ sounds a little silly to practice getting up maybe that’s the training I need. So I’ll give it a try…couldn’t hurt right.

Hanging out with friends until the wee hours of the morning is not helping with this goal. No more hanging out after work….well maybe once in a while :)

Have not done well with this goal. 19 months ago

Ended up dropping the class that was getting me up early. Working long shifts that end around 3AM made it very hard for this night owl to get up on time. But I would still like to work on this goal. Not a good start to this week seeing as it’s 1:30 in the morning and I am still online :)

But I want to be an early bird.
I love to stay up late, but I don’t like it that 1) If I get up early I am sleep deprived or 2) If it is the weekend I sleep in until noon.
I want to start my days early and feel fresh and awake! So, I am going to begin trying to be in bed by ten and asleep by ten-thirty. Here’s hoping this works!
