I want to know my original face before I was born. Find my true nature

It’s happening to a number of people. It’s a real state with some measurable physiological and experiential components. If you are serious about it, I’d check out www.tm.org.

And yet there really isn’t anything I can do to achieve this goal. Any effort works against it—like trying to be spontaneous, or attempting to relax.

I remember reading once that enlightenment isn’t ultimate victory: it’s final defeat. There’s nothing to attain; it’s a matter of dropping all else, including the one who would get there (and the there to get to).

I’m ready; in the meantime, the dirty dishes….
