name a star with the International Star Registry

wud be nice to name a star after a loved one.. will show them just how much we love and care for them.

i think it would be cool to name a star after the ones i love. Just to be able to look up and see all the stars and to know that one of them is named because of me for someone i love would be great :)

I don’t know if she likes it that much, but she has always hoped someone would find her very very special. Love has been unlucky for her. I know this would have been FABulous coming from a lovely man, but she may never meet one in and among the married, the freeloaders, the con-men she seems to go for, so I gave this to her, along with a telescope so she could find it from her oceanfront house. I don’t think she will ever learn to use the excellent scope, come to think of it. Anyway, I’m fairly sure that when it comes right down to it, this means something to her, and that’s what I wanted to give her- a tiny spot of love and immortality.

After many nights stargazing together I told my love that I was going to name a star after him. I promised him I would name one. He said hed like that and wanted me to show him which star. Several months later we were on one of the covered bridges in Ashtubula County late in the evening and we both looked up together and saw the most incrediably beautiful pristine clear Milky Ways I have ever seen. I knew then as we held hands that I needed to do this for him right away. And even though we are not together any more he has something that he will always remember that night and our very special time together.When ever he looks up at the Milky Way in his lifetime I want him to always remember us and smile.

I love stars. Maybe I will have one of my own someday with a little certificate showing that I named it. Not sure what I would name it though.
