get compliments from strangers

in journalism class, this boy said “oh, you look really beautiful today” and it made me really happy all day.

then the next day, my friends older sister passed me in the hallway and said “oh layne, youre so pretty.” randomly.

it was nice.

i like compliments.
confidence boost.

Um, because it doesn’t mean as much as it does if it comes from your friends and loved ones. Plus, come on – who here has been complimented on your looks by some skeevy ass dude that you want to run away from? Scary!
