become more patient

Boy would life be easier for myself and everyone that knows me if I were more patient.

Patience is a virtue – want to know a secret? – I don’t even know what virtue really means. It’s one of those words that is thrown around that no one knows what it really means.

I do consider myself a patient person, but there is always room for improvement in this area for all of us. Patience toward others, myself or a situation is what I want to have more of this year.

I have been listening to Pem Chodra in the car. So far I have been struck by the idea of lingering in the moment of impatience to learn about being patience and equally struck by a Buddhist nun who swears!

Actually … I don’t remember why I added this goal. I think of myself of a pretty patient person, not really any problems there so … solved :)
Relax and remember that most things aren’t worth stressing over.

Before i was so impatient that i beat someone to death because they were taking to long at a goddamm ATM. The jury is literaly still out on this on.

I NEED ADVICE. I HAVE BEEN MARRIED 21 YEARS AND IM IN MY EARLY 30’S HAVE TWO GIRLS,15 AND 9 AND ONE HUSBAND THAT ACTS LIKE A TEENAGER. I HAVE A SPINAL INJURY FROM A CAR WRECK THAT CAUSES ME ALOT OF PAIN EVEVRY DAY.. NO ONE IN THIS HOUSE HELPS ME DO ANYTHING..I QUITE A VERY GOOD JOB BECAUSE IT BOTHERED MY NECK AND I WORK HARDER AT HOME THAN I DID 10 HOURS A DAY.. RIGHT NOW THE GIRLS ARE ENJOYING SHREK 2 WHILE I DO LAUNDRY ,CLEAN KITCHEN ,BATHROOM, ..HOW DO I GET THEM TO RELIZE I DO HAVE CONSTENT PAIN AND NEED HELP.. I FEEL LIKE I AM BEATING A DEAD HORSE AND BEING USED.. HAVE EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT LEAVING ALL OF THEM AND MAKING THEM DO FOR THEM SELVES. HELP

I have never been the patient type. I had a baby and realized that needed to change…and fast. I have really tried to work on being more patient and I feel I have done well. YEA ME!!! :)

I was never one to have much patience, but now i have a son. Yes, having children requires a ton of patience…and i am working on it! Unfortunatley, i still have a long way to go, but it will happen.
