I am going to practice my unaided handstands, then up against a wall, then walkdown the wall in a handstand, and if I am brave enough, go for the full thing. Aaaah!!!!
The last time I tried I was about 7 years old and I landed on my back, it really hurt so I haven’t tried again. But I couldn’t do a bridge then, and even though my handstand was probably better, I don’t think I had the strength in my arms.

I think I might go to the park tomorrow and practice my handstands. I live opposite a park, but I am going to go to a one with trees, a bit further away from neighbours or people who potentially might know me and laugh.

I can do one really slow, but both feet are on the ground when i get up. I’ve been focusing on my splits for a while so haven’t done a walkover for a few days.

So today, my friends and i decided to see how good we are at gymnastics, this inspired me to have a few gymnastic goals. So i can go into a handstand, fall into a bridge and stand up. But the bad of it is, its all sooo slow. Tips on speeding up?

yea it is a fun thing to do, make sure that you don’t have back problems tho, how i learned was…go up into a handstand and slowly bend over till your feet touch the ground, then push off your hands…..it could take a few tries:)...good luck

im trying to work on my front/back walkovers at home instead of acro (dance i take, basically gymnastics w/ a touch of dance). when doing my front walkover, i go in a handstand with my legs in a split position, land in a backbend with one leg in the air, BUT I CANT STAND UP!
i’ve been practicing standing up on my own from a bridge position with 2 feet on the ground. however, when i do my front walkover – i can never stand up!
can someone please tell me ways i can practice this at home (where i have no mats to practice on) so i can fully do a front walkover. any techiniques? THANKS..
PLEASE COMMENT BACK
