It took awhile to get into the habit of doing this every day but eventually I did. I found a nice, lightweight spf 30 lotion for my whole face and a sheer spf 85 for my eye area which I am particularly worried about. Haven’t noticed any sort of change in my skin quality or anything.. but hopefully its helping!

How to wear sunscreen everyday
How I did it: A few months ago, my workplace held a health clinic. Nurses came in and checked our cholesterol, bone density, blood sugar, and skin health. For the skin test, we had to stick our faces in a curtained box that shone UV light so that sun damage would show up clearly.
Ever seen the movie "The Toxic Avenger"? Well, my skin looked like the Toxic Avenger's in that UV light. I couldn't believe how much damage there was. That was my wake-up call; since then I've worn sunscreen every day before going outside, even if it's cloudy.
Resources: If you're interested in cruelty-free sunscreen (i.e., not tested on animals), this website has a good selection:

I am doing WELL on this for my cheeks and around my eyes, cause I use spf 15 moisturizer every single day, but.. since I have combination skin my forehead, chin and nose do not like anything remotely moisturizing and generally break out all over the place when I try. Any product suggestions or advice?? I’m just gonna keep trying and hope my pills will kick in and clear my skin soon.
It should be just like brushing your teeth or putting on deodorant but for some reason I can’t seem to get this done EVERYDAY!

Scary experiences with skin cancer (and the potential thereof) have made me want to remember every day to slather some on. I’ve been looking for everyday lotions that have sunscreen in them so that for those occassions when I accidentally spend 2 hours outside sitting by the river, I won’t burn if I forgot to put on sunscreen.
carry around some sunblock n SHARE
(: you never knw how dangerous the sun can be
......even if its cloudy outside
