How to dress up for Halloween by CropTillDawn~

"Try to make your costume with as much stuff from home as possible. The more creative the better."

How I did it: I had just watched the Vice-Presidential canditorial debates on TV and I had my hair up and I was looking in the mirror and had an OMG moment. I put on my normal make-up and hubby's reading glasses. I was going to wear this conservative blue dress I have but I really wanted it to be a goof of her so I went bright red white and blue instead.

Lessons & tips: Find something in the news. I said she was the scariest thing I could be for Halloween, Palin one heartbeat away as president pushing, equality back 100 years!
BOO! 

Resources: Everyone kept asking me to say, Maverick. I would say,"Come to Alaska and get Maveriky." in her accent. People were cracking up and dragging me show their husbands.

How I did it: I didn't put enough thought into it and ended up going with a store-bought costume.  I waited until the day before to buy it so it was 1/2 price!  I generally think of store-bought costumes as a cop-out, so I went the extra mile and dyed my hair dark brown to match the outfit.     I bought my Halloween costume. It’s a red and white fairy costume w/ wings. I just need to buy a few more things: hair/body glitter, body art pens for fake tattoos, shoes, and a wand.

    Didnt get to follow through with this goal. Didnt have money like I thought I would. So didnt dress up. Went to the village halloween parade in nyc though. So many people. It was crazy. So many awesome costumes too.

    But I’m invited to two parties; one, a birthday/halloween themed party and the other a trick or treating expedition of some sort!!
