Didnt get to follow through with this goal. Didnt have money like I thought I would. So didnt dress up. Went to the village halloween parade in nyc though. So many people. It was crazy. So many awesome costumes too.

How I did it: Um. I got a costume worked out with what I had, worked out the make up and just did it. There's not much that went into but hey! It was rewarding in fun and experience. :) Read how I did it…

How I did it: I had just watched the Vice-Presidential canditorial debates on TV and I had my hair up and I was looking in the mirror and had an OMG moment. I put on my normal make-up and hubby's reading glasses. I was going to wear this conservative blue dress I have but I really wanted it to be a goof of her so I went bright red white and blue instead. I was thinking of going for the kinderwhore loook tomorrow. It’s cheap, and all I need is red lipstick and a dress. Huzzah! I’ll go on a spree tomorrow, too.

haloween is only a week away and I haven’t even thought about this yet. Any ideas for a party-worth costume for very little money?

But I’m invited to two parties; one, a birthday/halloween themed party and the other a trick or treating expedition of some sort!!
Either way, I’ve got to decide on a costume…
Now, an army brat or a fallen angel?

For a few years now Ive wanted to dress up and go trick or treating with my friends. Everyone says I’m too old cause I’m 20. Next year I dont care I’m gonna have my way with this and I’m dragging someone with me. Why should I stay home and miss out on all that candy. I might even rent a costume.

I was not a cat as planned but a leopard instead.
Costume companies seem to design their garments for women less curvy than I. Well really, the truth is that almost all clothing-makers don’t design with curves in mind.
On the model in the “this is what the costume will look like” picture, the outfit looked okay, slightly conservative even, but when I put it on, I felt like I character from a Russ Meyer film. (Since I was a feline, “Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!” perhaps?)

This year will the second time I’ve dressed up for Halloween. Due to my mother’s religious beliefs, I didn’t celebrate the holiday when I was a kid. I dressed up for the first time at age 30. I was a “devil princess.” (That’s what the package said the costume was supposed to be, anyway.)
I bought this year’s costume! I’m going to be a cat.
