How to sell a piece of art by katorade

"I started selling prints of my photography to my friends."

How I did it: I advertised on facebook to my friends that I was selling prints, and they put in orders. I made an album of my best photos that I thought people might like and they starter ordering. I made about $100.

Lessons & tips: Charge more than you think, they will buy.

    I almost completed this goal. My high school offered to buy a piece from my portfolio to display, but they were only offering $50. On top of that, my AP Art Studio class encountered big problems with the school administration dealing with censorship this year. That incident kind of left us students with a bad taste for the school administration; not exactly on the terms to accept commissions.
