go to a dresden dolls concert

they are one of my fav band and i hear their concerts are fun if not odd.

It wasn’t just the Dresden Dolls, but they were absolutely amazing. I didn’t really know them before the show. I was actually going so I could see Erasure perform again since the last time I saw them was in Chicago during their Abba-Esque tour. I’d googled them and listened to clips from a couple of their songs and thought they were good, but I wasn’t really expecting much. I was blown away though.

After The Clicks performed, Margaret Cho came out and did her comedy bit as the crew set up for the Dolls and then Cho introduced them. They were great (much better than Debbie Harry who followed them). I became an instant fan of theirs and will have to go find their cds. I had the chance to go buy them and get autographs right after their set, but didn’t want to miss any of Debbie Harry. Having now seen her performance I regret not taking the chance to go meet the Dolls.

I did though get a chance to meet drummer Brian Viglione as he made his way through the crowd later in the evening as he brushed up against me. He’s a cool guy and definitely talented.

If I have the chance to see them perform again, I will definitely take that opportunity.

It was like a rock and roll fantasy! Excellent!
