I feel so grateful, since I have wanted this for a long time. But I wasn’t making it a priority or being very proactive myself about making it happen. (And as it turns out, this isn’t even something he will be participating in! So it’s all about me.)

Also, I usually get more action than he does, even before this. (I think it’s easier for women, at least in the circles we travel in.)
