I have seemed to of lost interest already.
I still get excited when i see bikes and such.. but not reading my book. The idea seems far fetched. Money for bike, gear.. fact I have never been on a bike.. scarey.

Well i got the book! i am now studying the Rider’s Road Sense manual. Still have yet to actually be on a bike.. hmm.. should probably do that and see if i like it.

Sidenote Today, while riding the ferry, maybe 10 pages into my book.. there’s a stem with bud on it! in the crease of my book! that’s right people.. WEED in my book I got from ICBC. I have no idea how.. book looked like it had never been opened. Funnny.

Lately I have been working on photoshoots for a bike calendar. The woman seem so strong and independent and the bikes are so sexy and powerful. I have never been on a bike.. they scare me a little and are out of my comfort zone. I think it would be freeing. A fear to conquer.

Totally not on my radar this year. But always a hope!!! I know the bike I want…have to keep the dream alive, at any rate. :) I would LOVE a Yamaha Verago!!! It’s the ultimate first machine for cruiser types (of which I am one…I don’t want to hurtle over the mountain, I want to SEE it. lol). Plus, it won’t break my bank.

I’d also go with the 535, preferably was new in the mid-90’s, for two reasons 1.) It’s the smallest, most stable for my comfort zone & I don’t want something I can’t handle with confidence; at least for a few years, & 2.) There’s more of used ones available because they are considered a beginner’s bike, & as for the mid-90’s bit, I don’t want anything older, let’s say, but I still want to feel “vintage”...and by the time I can afford this bike, I will be considered “vintage”. lol Jk. Almost…

Before I own the bike.

Really please I did this 19 months ago

Traveling by bike is far more exhilarating that driving a car. It makes you feel far more alive and alert. It’s not as practical as a car so don’t think I could cope with just a bike.

Sold the bike… had enough

Oh, yeah! 3 years ago

There’s nothing in my life that I’ve found brings more feelings of exhilaration or freedom than bikes. It’s so FUN to travel! And plus they’re sexy. Not the main reason I’m getting my license, but a perk! :)
