There have been many things I wanted to do wih my life that time, responsibility and circumstance prevented. Now I’m forty and I have so many demands on my time I have to accept that I will never do many of the things I wished for.
Riding a motorcycle will not be one of them. My father had motorcycles when I was a child – an old ‘50’s Ducati, an early 70’s Yamaha.
My step-father has always known about my love of motorcycles – particularily older bikes. Recently he offered to give me his provided I take a rider-improvment course in the spring.
His bike is a 1980 H-D FLH-1.

As sonn as I’m 18 (on the 9th of Feburary) I will be getting my licence so I can ride my Piaggio Liberty around!
I will be riding not only to work and friends places but school too.
I’m just too excited.

stacca wants to change, the way she feels.
I want to have a drive around a car park on a vespa, before trying for my CBT.
But how?? I don’t know anyone with a vespa.

This goal is being added to my list, in an attempt to tidy up, and keep my 43 Things list active.

I really only want to do this so i have a means to get around when i am overseas. How fun to live in Spain, and just zip about on my Vespa. But i mean really, do i need it? Is this just a romantic fantasy? Why do i need a licence any more in Spain, when i am a traveller, than in Sydney, where i am a local? I don’t know.
I would still like to have it, but i am proud to say i don’t contribute to the polution. Maybe i should make this “Ride my bike more often”. I don’t like giving up on goals, but i don’t mind changing them :)

(This is my bike, named Atlas)
