Thanks to my TD Gold Travel Visa, I’ve travelled from Vancouver to both Las Vegas and Manchester, this year, completely on points. I also used the automatic travel insurance (which applies to every ticket bought with the card) when my suitcase was lost in transit. This card has been well worth the CA$100 per annum fee. Highly recommended.

so i got a card that gives me a mile for every dollar i spend, just got it in the mail yesterday & made my first purchase today! dunno if i will keep it that long (after a year, it’s $85 annual fee), but yay, i will have airline miles!
We have a few—one that gives us cash credit for certain types of purchases, and airline miles card, and a hotel rewards card. Why use another credit card when there are free cards that give you free stuff back?
Des is slowly regaining her sanity (unfortunately?)
I figure, if I’m going to spend money, I may as well put it on my credit card and get a little back for it. 1% does add up. Right now I use a credit card that gives me Disney rewards. I have no problem finding opportunities to use those!
i’ve been trying to build my credit…& my main credit card has been consistently upping my limit. but i’d like one that gives me some sort of points or rewards…i’ve applied for one before, but my credit wasn’t good enough yet.
so i hope that it will be someday.
