When I set this goal, I really had no idea how much my life would change in the process of achieving it. Over the past three and a half years, there were so many times I wondered why I was doing it, and if it was worth all of the sacrifices I’d made. Now that I’m here, I cannot begin to explain how grateful I am for all that I went through, the people I met along the way, and the opportunity to say, without reservation, that I am a better version of myself for having done it. The greatest reward is having the knowledge and ability to help people get out of pain and improve their overall quality of life, without the use of drugs or surgical intervention.
I’m proud to be a Chiropractor, and I can’t wait to see where this profession takes me, and how many lives I can touch along the way.

Tomorrow is my first day as a student at Logan college. We have orientation from 7:30 a.m. until 3 p.m.
The notion to become a chiropractor has been in my head since 1996 and after initially looking into it this year I thought it might take me until the first part of 2010 before I’d be ready to start – kind of missed that target (but in a good way)
I think I’ll be putting in my final notice at work after the orientation. I gave a clear heads up to my boss on the first of this month and he was decent enough to work with me so I could take attend the class and still work a few extra weeks but, I think the end of this month will probably do it for my networking career.
Like Sinatra said, “The best is yet to come” :)

I’ll be going to Logan College of Chiropractic and starting the Accelerated Science Program (ASP) with an orientation on Tuesday, May 13, 2008.
After successfully completing four chemistry classes, three labs and one biology class I’ll be ready to start “Tri 1” in January of 2009 which will put me on track to obtain my Doctorate of Chiropractic degree in May of 2012.
I am really starting to settle on a decision for my future career. I want something that is going to be both fulfilling and something I am not going to hate waking up in the morning to go to. I would love to start my own practice and also do volunteer work.
I filled out a transcript order form today. I ordered 6 of them. Just need to write out a check and pop it in the mail tomorrow morning.
I graduated in Sept. ‘05. I have really enjoyed the work. I do a lot of work with athleets, they make great patients. The schooling is long but if you just focus it is over before you know it. I would advise shadowing several different chiropractors before making the commitment of going to school.
