How I did it: I'm not really sure.
It started on the Friday morning with work (2am start) and my school prom that ended that evening at 12pm. Then the after prom party which lasted until the Sunday after that.
Never again am I staying up that long- it's not worth the effort.

How I did it: I am an insomniac. At about hour 70 I started hallucinating SEVERELY. It was bad. I saw a scarecrow on my floor and thought a shadow in my room was the Grimace, that purple McDonalds thing. Truly a magical experience. The only bad part was after the 76 hours I stayed up, I got only 2 hours of sleep before 7 hours of school the next day. It was pure hell. I was nauseous, incredibly dizzy (i fell up the stairs and got a bruise on my knee that will not go away), had a headache, and could not keep my eyes open in my AP classes. If you plan on doing this make sure you have enough time to sleep when you finally do crash. Read how I did it… 4 years ago

Geez this is so much harder then I tought.. I tryed everything!! Extreme metal so I won`t fall asleep (Ya think it worked?! Not even close), Coffee (I discovered coffee makes me even more asleep), Books (Reading untill my eyes start to defocus and I end up snoring on the book), Movies (Yeah rite…not workin`)...etc,etc. Any suggestions?!

I used to do this a lot when I was in my early teens, and still do once in a while for the sake of studying.
The first day, you don’t feel it past your morning coffee. The next day, you feel WEAK. Near the end, you feel even weaker, you can’t think, you can’t walk straight, and you even have trouble speaking.
But yeah, it’s a blast. You don’t waste any time in bed. 6 years ago

Not as entertaining as the first time I stayed awake for 96 hours, but an interesting ride nonetheless.
Just don’t do this sort of thing just for the “rush” of it. You want an acid trip, drop acid. It’s probably as harmful to your body if not more so, but at least you’ll get a decent amount of sleep. 7 years ago

...I tried to break the world’s record for staying awake when I was 14 or so. It was fun until the auditory hallucinations and clonus set in. I eventually passed out in a movie theatre. 7 years ago

the going slightly insane part is….disturbing. Be very very careful if you try this, and keep in mind, you WILL ballance out again once you do sleep…however, the thoguhts and realizations you had in yuor insane state may stick with you for the rest of your life 7 years ago
