How to take my camera everywhere and take pictures of thoses amazing mundane things that blow my mind by imaginedavis

How I did it: I have a small camera and I take pictures of all the art, murals, signs or anything around me as I am bicycling through the city that intrigues me. I have over a thousand collected pictures now. Its great because now I have a new awareness of my surroundings. Oftentimes, when I see one, I immediately see three or four others that I wouldn't have seen otherwise.

    How amazing 15 months ago

    I started this goal 2 years ago, and now I come back to find 40 people doing it too! Amazing.
    I think I can tick this off my list, although it really is an ongoing thing.
    I got over my wierd awkwardness with taking photos while travelling, taking photos of everything, not just the eiffel tower. And now I’m just doing it all the time. cracks in the road, shadows, whatever.

    I do this all the time (the funny picture thing)...

    Yesterday after leaving the pool, I figured out my toenail polish exactly corresponds with the trim on the dash. For some reason, I thought this was hysterical and snapped a picture. See? Both modes of transportation match. Unintentional but funny… a concomitant pedicure!

    I highly recommend this goal of photodocumenting the ordinary to everyone, as it makes day to day living so much more fun.
