‘have to give up on this one….
I hadnt checked for a while, but apparently Spamalot left Broadway some time ago, and is touring cities without the original cast…
phoo, phoo phoo -!! Once again, foiled by the Cursed Almighty Dollar ! :P
the show may travel to around here,,,,but for me, it just wouldnt be the same. I primarily wanted to see David Hyde Pierce, who i so adore, in his role as Sir Robin…
Sir Robin,
the-not-quite-so-pure-as-Sir-Launcelot,
...Who had nearly fought the Dragon of Agnor,
...Who had nearly stood up to to the vicious Chicken of Bristol
and who i’ll So miss seeing in tights…

because I checked out the cast and I don’t think I want to go anymore. I saw the show here in DC. I will be satisfied with that. Maybe when it opens in Vegas, I will go and see it again.

get to see it when it played here in Washington, DC. That just whetted my appetite to go see it in NYC though. Wink, Wink, know what I mean..

This musical was panned by the critics, so of course I didn’t listen to them. I went. It was the most tedious, non-sensical,just plain bad two hours I’ve ever spent.

Love Monty Python, have all the films/shows including the Live at the Hollywood Bowl on video, even though it was before I was born. MUST get to see this show at some point but I need to find ppl to drag along!

I laughed so hard I cried during the French Taunters scene. I got to talk with the cast afterwards, too, which was lots of fun….
