Dubya, you should read this....  — 1 year ago

(but sadly, we all know he doesnt read. Maybe Laura can read it to him, like a bedtime story…a la Grimm’s Fairie Tales ??)

well, just because i’m behind in besmirching Prez Jr. lately (laugh),,,and cant let the year end without 1 parting shot…i thought i would post this essay recently written by one of my “career heroes” (as in i wish i had a career like his), Dr. G. Clotaire Rapaille, one of the world’s authorities on Cultural Archetypes. Rapaille decodes the underlying reasons of what compels humans to respond the way the do in various cultures, and in this essay, so clearly articulates why the original premise of Bush’s Invasion was doomed to fail. I SO WISH i could insert these insights between the two brain cells that Bush rubs together to do his “thinking”....but knowledge is power, and i post it here in the vain hope that it might reach him somewhere, somehow….

(and by the way,,,why is EVERYBODY jumping on the Dubya-is-stupid bandwagon NOW that he’s a lame duck…where were these public voices in the past 6 years, when we NEEDED more public outrage of his idiocy ?!?)

By DR. G. CLOTAIRE RAPAILLE

There is no solution to Iraq – because there is no Code to Iraq. Iraq does not exist. Only in the mind of Washington. The Kurds, the Sunnis, and the Shiites know that Iraq is an artificial construction created by the Europeans in 1921 and that it has been artificially maintained by the only force that could do so; Saddam Hussein. They were forced to be together. Before 1921,they were separated by three vilayets – the Kurds in the north, the Shiites in the south, and the Sunnis in the center. The United States is not at war against Iraq and has never been because, once again, Iraq does not exist. The United States did not win against Iraq – they won against Saddam Hussein, who was the only one able to maintain the three vilayets together. Without Saddam andgiven a choice, they don’t want to be together. They just want the oil – but the Sunnis (in thecenter, the ones with Saddam) don’t have any. With Saddam, however, they had the power. So if not having any power means no oil, they can’t accept it. Democracy does not mean anything to them. They do not have any imprint of it. They do not relate to it. For them, it means the Shiites are going to have the power and the oil (they are the majority). These two words, Iraq (which does not exist) and democracy (which has no imprint /meaning) are just completely irrelevant. We are not fighting a war in Iraq, and this is not a civil war (again, because Iraq does not exist). It is the United States not having a clue of the culture code and trying to replace Saddam by forcing these unwilling people to live together. We do not have to train the Iraqi police because there is no Iraqi police. There are Sunni police and Shiite police. If we train the Sunni, they will kill the Shiites – if we train the Shiites, they will kill the Sunni. So why do we want to train them? Why does prime minister Maliki force the US military to remove roadblocks from SadrCity’s perimeter and to release detainees who were jailed in sweeps against death squads? Because Maliki is Shiite, the government is Shiite, Sadr is Shiite, and they all want to kill as many Sunnis as possible; starting with Saddam, the leader of the past oppression. How can the Sunnis react? By killing as many Shiites as possible. We are not and training an Iraqi army or an Iraqi police, we are training Shiites to kill Sunnis and Sunnis to kill Shiites. The new word is Sectarian violence. Great word, but it does not help. The question is not “should we send more troops, or should we leave?” The question is “how long before we start using the Culture Code Glasses, and start seeing the reality of what is happening, and stop using the wrong words like Iraq, Freedom, and Democracy. All these advisers are old, obsolete, and using the wrong glasses. They are asking the wrong questions. So they cannot have the right answers. All these new ideas about Iraq are complete nonsense because they are OFF CODE. So what do we do? Go back to the vilayets with total autonomy. Create hermetic boarders between these three autonomous regions. The Kurds are ready. They have the oil and they can survive on their own. The Turks are the main obstacle. This should be a condition for them to become part of Europe. The country has to be divided. Bagdad (to)Sunni, the south, (to) Shiites. They are already forcing Sunnis to move out of Shiite areas, and the Shiites to leave Sunnis areas. They will have to share oil revenue, otherwise the Sunni are never going to accept the division. An oil consortium, between the two, that should be managed by a third party (the Swiss) will divide revenue per percentage of population (per capita). Each vilayet will have elections, elect a separate government, build infrastructures and be responsible for its security. We will have a Sunni police controlling Sunnis, a Shiite police controlling Shiites, and a Kurd police controlling the Kurds. American troops should be in charge of keeping everybody within their own territory, like when we protected the Kurds against Saddam with the no flying zone. We should, however, have an international force with us, including Egypt, Jordan, the Saudis, and the Iranians. Once again, Iraq does not exist. We do not want to become the new Saddam. We cannot force people to live together. We have three cultures here, with three culture codes. These three (culture) codes have to be respected or we will never have peace. It is time to understand The Rights of Cultures. This is what America should be promoting, not democracy, or Iraq, not American Freedom or American glasses.

does this president have NO SHAME....??!?  — 2 years ago

...i’m sitting here listening to NPR’s live coverage of Bush jr’s press conference in Chicago…and i’m tempted to start marking on a piece of paper the number of times he’s said“Ummmm, that’s the first i’ve heard of it…”

what the hell does he DO with his time ?! count the days till his august vacation ??

Another catch phrases of his: “it’s hard work; this is hard work to _ _ _“ _well, duhhhhhh…News Flash, frat boy, who the hell said being President was easy? If you wanted a do-nothing desk job, you shoulda stayed in Texas running that baseball team into the ground…

That he keeps reiterating this statement makes it sound like he thinks its a “Get-Outta-Responsibility-Free” Card. Its one of his many attitudes that absolutely sickens me. Name me one former president, republican or democrat, who ever defended his policies by saying: this stuff is Hard Work !

Another one of his smarmy tactics, when he’s asked some tough questions (as reporters are FINALLY beginning to do) is to trying divert attention by trying to get personal and humorous with the press. He cut off one reporter on their follow-up, and started talking to another, saying (paraphrased) “Hey Jimmie, you from the mid-west? do you consider yourself a mid-western or a west-coaster? or both? are you bi-lateral?? heh heh…” as if stalling them with smarmy charm neutralizes the seriousness of the questions. With everything going on in the world, North Korea playing with missles, Iraq falling apart & losing ever more lives day after day, the earth on the tipping point of catastrophic global warmingDO YOU NOT GET IT THAT THIS IS NO TIME FOR JOKES ??

yeesh….

(ding! he just said “its hard work” again! 11:56am)

November cannot get here fast enough for me, get the democrats in there so we can get serious in ousting this Idiot…

Arrrggh!

Papers: Cheney Aide Says Bush OK’d Leak
Bush Authorized Leak of Intelligence Data on Iraq, Says New Court Filing in CIA Leak Case

woo hoo! Once again, rumors of impeachment for abuse of power are being tossed around, and Libby has realized he’s just going to hung out to dry, for his blind allegiance to the Bush-Butchered administration, so he’s telling what really occurred…

Can the rest of the Dream be far behind?

;D

IMPEACHBUSH.COM—more reasons to impeach Bush
More conspiracies, lies and crimes revealed:

The growing nation-wide effort to impeach George W. Bush and Dick Cheney is emblematic of a larger issue: what kind of country is the United States to become.

Yesterday’s news brought out two explosive pieces of information:

Lewis Libby, the indicted chief aide to Dick Cheney, has admitted under oath before a Federal Grand Jury that it was George W. Bush himself who authorized Libby to illegally “leak” classified information to New York Times reporter Judith Miller in July, 2003 in an effort to discredit Ambassador Joseph Wilson who had publicly stated that “there is nothing to the story” that Saddam Hussein’s government was trying to buy uranium for a nuclear weapons program. Wilson is the husband of Valerie Plame, the undercover CIA operative whose identity was revealed to the media as retaliation for Wilson’s contention that Bush’s assertions about Iraq’s Weapons of Mass Destruction were false. The “classified information” that Bush and Cheney authorized Libby to plant in the New York Times turned out to be entirely false.

Bush’s Attorney General admitted yesterday that Bush believes that he has the authority to personally authorize the secret wiretapping, without any court order, of any and all conversations and emails between Americans that occur exclusively within the borders of the United States. Earlier it was revealed that Bush set up a massive secret wiretapping operation monitoring a huge number of Americans, but he had asserted that it was only to listen in on conversations of people in the United States who were making international calls and emails.
bq. The fact that Bush has not already had articles of impeachment filed in the House of Representatives is clear evidence that the people must act forcefully as the true guardians of the Constitution and the Bill of Rights. That is exactly what the ImpeachBush.org movement is doing. When impeachment looked remote, there were still tens of thousands of individuals who tirelessly worked to collect petitions, hold rallies, wrote and called members of Congress and donated so that we could place newspaper ads all across the country.
