(but sadly, we all know he doesnt read. Maybe Laura can read it to him, like a bedtime story…a la Grimm’s Fairie Tales ??)
well, just because i’m behind in besmirching Prez Jr. lately (laugh),,,and cant let the year end without 1 parting shot…i thought i would post this essay recently written by one of my “career heroes” (as in i wish i had a career like his), Dr. G. Clotaire Rapaille, one of the world’s authorities on Cultural Archetypes. Rapaille decodes the underlying reasons of what compels humans to respond the way the do in various cultures, and in this essay, so clearly articulates why the original premise of Bush’s Invasion was doomed to fail. I SO WISH i could insert these insights between the two brain cells that Bush rubs together to do his “thinking”....but knowledge is power, and i post it here in the vain hope that it might reach him somewhere, somehow….
(and by the way,,,why is EVERYBODY jumping on the Dubya-is-stupid bandwagon NOW that he’s a lame duck…where were these public voices in the past 6 years, when we NEEDED more public outrage of his idiocy ?!?)

There is no solution to Iraq – because there is no Code to Iraq. Iraq does not exist. Only in the mind of Washington. The Kurds, the Sunnis, and the Shiites know that Iraq is an artificial construction created by the Europeans in 1921 and that it has been artificially maintained by the only force that could do so; Saddam Hussein. They were forced to be together. Before 1921,they were separated by three vilayets – the Kurds in the north, the Shiites in the south, and the Sunnis in the center. The United States is not at war against Iraq and has never been because, once again, Iraq does not exist. The United States did not win against Iraq – they won against Saddam Hussein, who was the only one able to maintain the three vilayets together. Without Saddam andgiven a choice, they don’t want to be together. They just want the oil – but the Sunnis (in thecenter, the ones with Saddam) don’t have any. With Saddam, however, they had the power. So if not having any power means no oil, they can’t accept it. Democracy does not mean anything to them. They do not have any imprint of it. They do not relate to it. For them, it means the Shiites are going to have the power and the oil (they are the majority). These two words, Iraq (which does not exist) and democracy (which has no imprint /meaning) are just completely irrelevant. We are not fighting a war in Iraq, and this is not a civil war (again, because Iraq does not exist). It is the United States not having a clue of the culture code and trying to replace Saddam by forcing these unwilling people to live together. We do not have to train the Iraqi police because there is no Iraqi police. There are Sunni police and Shiite police. If we train the Sunni, they will kill the Shiites – if we train the Shiites, they will kill the Sunni. So why do we want to train them? Why does prime minister Maliki force the US military to remove roadblocks from SadrCity’s perimeter and to release detainees who were jailed in sweeps against death squads? Because Maliki is Shiite, the government is Shiite, Sadr is Shiite, and they all want to kill as many Sunnis as possible; starting with Saddam, the leader of the past oppression. How can the Sunnis react? By killing as many Shiites as possible. We are not and training an Iraqi army or an Iraqi police, we are training Shiites to kill Sunnis and Sunnis to kill Shiites. The new word is Sectarian violence. Great word, but it does not help. The question is not “should we send more troops, or should we leave?” The question is “how long before we start using the Culture Code Glasses, and start seeing the reality of what is happening, and stop using the wrong words like Iraq, Freedom, and Democracy. All these advisers are old, obsolete, and using the wrong glasses. They are asking the wrong questions. So they cannot have the right answers. All these new ideas about Iraq are complete nonsense because they are OFF CODE. So what do we do? Go back to the vilayets with total autonomy. Create hermetic boarders between these three autonomous regions. The Kurds are ready. They have the oil and they can survive on their own. The Turks are the main obstacle. This should be a condition for them to become part of Europe. The country has to be divided. Bagdad (to)Sunni, the south, (to) Shiites. They are already forcing Sunnis to move out of Shiite areas, and the Shiites to leave Sunnis areas. They will have to share oil revenue, otherwise the Sunni are never going to accept the division. An oil consortium, between the two, that should be managed by a third party (the Swiss) will divide revenue per percentage of population (per capita). Each vilayet will have elections, elect a separate government, build infrastructures and be responsible for its security. We will have a Sunni police controlling Sunnis, a Shiite police controlling Shiites, and a Kurd police controlling the Kurds. American troops should be in charge of keeping everybody within their own territory, like when we protected the Kurds against Saddam with the no flying zone. We should, however, have an international force with us, including Egypt, Jordan, the Saudis, and the Iranians. Once again, Iraq does not exist. We do not want to become the new Saddam. We cannot force people to live together. We have three cultures here, with three culture codes. These three (culture) codes have to be respected or we will never have peace. It is time to understand The Rights of Cultures. This is what America should be promoting, not democracy, or Iraq, not American Freedom or American glasses.
