How I did it: Seriously, all I finally settled on doing is walking about a mile each day and portion control. I didn't lose at all at first but once I got into the swing of things I have been losing a pound a week for a few months now. Onto 20!
Lessons & tips: A pound a week is awesome progress, even if the people on TV are losing 6lbs every week.
Resources: Eating only the exact portions that they suggest on the packages of food. So... the labels on the food itself?

Ever since I was 13, I’ve had trouble with my weight. I currently weigh about 165lbs, and I would like to closer to 150lbs. I am a size 12 and I would like to get down to a size 8.

Not doing as well as I would like to do It seems that I am on a rollercoaster. I lost 4 now it is back. I thought that it was water weight but it should have already left if that was it.
I have done some things right this week
drinking water and tea
Packed up junk food and bought a healthy dinner instead of making it.
I need to write down what I eat! That is my biggest mistake

since I was injured and have lying in bed for the past 6 weeks I obviously was unable to keep up my exercise routine. I hardly controlled my eating habits, I mean, come on, I lost out on all the fun in my life I wasnt expected to eat carrot sticks all day was I?
I put on 7 pounds which really upsets me but I am not going to blame myself for this, it is not out of laziness but bad luck because of the injury. Once I am back on form I will have to work even harder to lose back those 7 pounds and then another 15. Its going to be hard work I know

I don’t know how but I plateaued right at 12lbs. The 15lb mark is just 3 away and it seems so far. I am going to try to jump-start it next week by dropping the calories down to 1200 for a couple days and then jumping back up to 1400. I hope my body is just bored. :/
Well, if I can manage 5 lbs in the next 2 weeks, I’ll be happy.

I just reached my 10lb goal and am now working on 15lbs with the rest of you. I am actually at 11lbs and am very excited to keep this momentum going. Wish me luck!

Well, I did it! My daughters birthday is a week from today and have superseded my goal! I started this journey two months ago at 166lbs with a goal weight of 151. As of today my weight was 148! Which means I am only 9lbs away from by pre- baby weight (which I do not plan on going back to, I was way too skinny) I was even able to not put on my goal pants but I was able to wear them to work! These are my favorite pants I wore to work and clubbing all the time prior. So here is the breakdown. January 2007: 139 October 12, 2007 (after baby was born) 230lbs – Today: 148 = 82lbs in less than a year! Holly Smokes! I am stoked!
