start a homeless shelter.

My family & I are doing our research and all of the pre-requsiyes to get a homeless shelter up & going here in cache valley.A few years back I myself was in this position and was so overwelmed that there was not much of anything here to help the homeless for over 75 miles either way of the valley.At that time our economy was not in the horrible fix it is know. It is more than apparentto me that someone needs to be enough giving of there time, there energy and the pure love for god as I have maybe I can touch the hearts of many and in the process to do the valley here some real good and to give the transit bishops a helping hand as they had done for me! I honestly know and believe (What goes around comes around)now to find a building here to do this, it is the only thing holding me back from accomplishing this!!!!!!! SO FRUSTRATED

I am in the process of buying a home to provide shelter for women with children. Next I need to find the funding to open the doors and keep them open. I need a guiding hand. does anyone have any ideas.

Hi everyone. I’m currently working as a social worker for abused children. I went back to school to get both Master in Business and Social work to pursue my dream of starting my own nonprofit organization. I started my own small private business but will soon be aplying for a nonprofit business. The first thing you need to do is to go to a lawyer and told them your intention of starting a nonprofit organization. If you established your business then you have to find a good grant writer so you can get the goverment or rich people to fund your vision. You also need to make sure to create a business plan that will attract the government to fund your organization. If your grant is approved then you can start searching for the right place to put your shelter.

We all have hard times. Some of us worse than others. I have been homeless many times. It`s taken me many years to better myself. I now can stand on my own two feet. But I haven`t forgotten where I use to be.
Please think , search your heart. I need everyones help. I made God a promise to start a homeless shelter. I have a website set up to take donations of money to help make this posilble. I`m asking that you make a donation to help make a difference. Just a few dollars. Anyone can do this. If we don`t do something to help the homeless get back to work then they only weaken an already weak system. The more people we put back to work, the less drain on the foodstamp program. We can`t depend on the government to rehab these people. And the churches can`t be the only ones who care. You need to care. Just 2 dollars. If everyone helps then this will no longer be a problem. I had my first child at 15, and it was very hard. By the age of 19, I had three children and moved out of state. It has been and still is a struggle. A long the way I’ve met several young ladys’ in the same situation I’m in with no help. I would like to be that helping hand, from helping them get medical for them and there children, to having a place to live, and getting the education they need to maintain employment for their family. I’m seeking guidence on how to go about to set up an organization that offers the help. Any suggestions?
