I am currently in college for social work. As soon as I get my degree, i want to have the resources and info available to open, not just work with abused or neglected children. Any information you could give me would help me tremendously. thank you

Hi everybody, i am from Nepal. Nepal is one of the world’s underdeveloped country. I want to work for Homeless children in my country.Many children are displaced because of parents negligence, country war, poverty, trafficking and different type of Abuses.

Many Children are living and dying on street and they are facing more difficulties and being more vulnerable. I want to start a Homeless shelter but have no idea and resources. will you please help me in helping those children at Risk. 6 months ago

there are grants available to fund a homeless shelter. If we all come together maybe we can make a difference and get something started to help someone before it is too late. Many people lose hope and faith in others when they are left on the streets. Many times these days entire families are becoming homeless. I truely have been there and I want to make a change in the lives of these suffering families. 7 months ago

Looking at our world today as I see it the rich seems to get richer and the poor stays poor. Unemployment in the United States continues to soar. The fact is that more people are one or two payments from joining the ranks of being homeless. Many companies are cutting costs and if it means more layoffs they could care less.

What can I do, I'm in the same boat as everybody else, but I do have the heart for the less fortunate.  I don't have the money, resources or people to help me make a major difference in the life of someone who needs it the most.  However, there is faith and taking steps to build a homeless shelter no matter how much it may cost.  I will focus on groups such as veterans whom have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country, the elderly whom have laid the ground work and foundations for our families and the children whom are orphans.

I may not have the education, background or the funding to make this happen. However, I believe that I can make a difference and no matter what happens to me personally my heart will not dampen. Why you may ask, because I feel that my dreams of building a homeless shelter will one day be a reality. 8 months ago
