I got a belaying liscense when I was about 13, but I’m not 17 and haven’t climbed since then. I’d love to get a job at the local rock wall place and be able to climb whenever I want.
That’s way better than fast food.

I’ve got another mom friend who, her and her husband used to climb too, pre-baby. So the 4 of us are going to get together, 2 will watch babies while the other 2 climb and belay. It’s a plan, now just to coordinate a time when we can all go
My old roommate called me up and invited me out to Seattle to climb with a friend of his. I am VERY excited! It has been a super long time since I have climbed. My brother and I were climbing partners but have moved away from each other…so sad. BUT I am looking forward to my upcoming trip. I am hoping it motivates me to get back into climbing.
I’ve done it once for a week when I went up to the North Sierra mountains. It’s toally amazing. And if you learn on actual mountains, then coming back and doing the walls is easy peasy. I’ve yet to hit a wall that challenged me so far… Mountains…now those are something else. You should so do this. Outward Bound is the group I went with.
