Bubble tea, also known as tapioca milk tea drinks  — 5 months ago

LOVE IT! For those who haven’t tried drinks with tapioca pearls in them, it may take a bit of getting used to.

My friend Hojo introduced me to bubble tea. Good stuff. I like the purple one!

Worth doing!

I’m not exactly sure what I thought bubble tea would be like, but it surpassed any expectation I might have had! I tried a pineapple bubble tea from Lil Bubble Bar, and I am hooked on this delicious drink! This will definitely be my weekly treat when I do my shopping.

There’s a shop in the mall where I do my food shopping called the Bubble Bar which sells bubble tea, I’m not very adventurous with food and drink and would like to be more daring. Must give it a go.

The drink itself was delicious, but the texture of the tapioca pearl things grossed me out.

Sounds good!  — 11 months ago

I adopted this goal because I had never heard of bubble tea before! But after all, anything named bubble-something is usually good :) This goal is therefore also meant to reflect my desire to have new gastronomical experiences :)

I love love love bubble tea! My favorite is from Boston Tea Stop (Harvard Sq. Boston, MA). All they sell is bubble tea! It’s so sweet and yummy and delicious. If you haven’t tried it, it’s totally worth the trip.

The first time I tried bubble tea was with a couple of asian friends of mine. And let me tell you, it IS worth it! I’ve tried bubble tea from 3 different places in Northbridge, each offering an exciting range of different milk or fruit flavours, and with your choice of flavoured jellies or sago (or tapioca pearls). My personal favourite flavour is hazelnut milk tea with chocolate sago, and I just cant get over those funny vaccuum seal machines, and the big fat straws! hehe, gotta luv it :P, anyway, I’m gonna go out and get some bubble tea in about half an hour, so my entry ends here! <3 Maddi

Especially vanilla chai from the Tea Garden in St. Paul, Minnesota. It’s one of the many things I miss since I moved back to Iowa. Just try explaining bubble tea to someone who has no idea what you’re talking about.
