Eat healthier -- more fruits and veggies

eating healthier for me is to 2 years ago
  • cut back on carbs (make them 1/3 or 1/4th of my plate, not 3/5ths)
  • add protein (legumes) and iron (green leaf veggies)
  • add fibre (snack on muesli and fruit – not sandwiches)
  • eat 1/2 parts veggies
  • steaming or eating more raw food – frying less (i fry practically everything)

it seems all we do though is fry things. i vow to have a non fried meal today.

so this is hard because protein isn’t as easy to serve as carbs. veggies shoud however be quite a bit easier than carbs (not counting bread).

so add more raw veggies. get more easy protein.

1. free sampling (never exceeding a taste)

2. each week i have 1 sugar unit to spend
(like a third of a candy bar)

eating healthier for me is about getting more protein, fruits and veggies and getting less carbs and..

not over eating

which makes it a lot about cooking better and and in a more mindful way, eating on a smaller plate and eating slower.

I might not be eating more fruits and veggies but i am eating less junk food….
