Save money for my wedding

I did it!! I bought my wedding gown within budget. I found my Maggie Sottero for $200! ($235 with veil! Never worn, only altered by a local shop) I got it at a thrift store, all documents are still in the bag including the certificate of authenticity.

I am looking for tips on how to save money for my wedding.

So far we have about 900 saved, we have the wedding planned for Sept. 09 so we have a little more time to save. I have joined up with a few places that will deposit money in paypal after I complete things, so that is going to help out some too. And I have been browsing around ebay and getting some great deals on favors and decorations.

Begged, borrowed, bartered, – should change this goal to get married

Well I saved up, but not enough so I have to cheat this one but this goal is almost complete.

Dress – picked and deposit paid
Photographer – found
Rings -ordered

Just need to organsie

Cake, table decs, bridesmaid dresses, cars, hair, make-up

Now the become financially stable goal goes out the window :0

We have booked the church and now need to make other arrangements.

We have so many plans but no finances to back them up…sigh

well i am getting married… we have planned it 2 years from now based on an agreement with my mother to pay partial and for my fiance and I to save up for our dream wedding. Now thinking abou this I think it is a great idea instead of cutting out those little things I can now have my fairy tale wedding (which is now my theme).
