managed 4 last night…underhand grip, which is the easiest, so I will be trying for 10 overall and then change to overhand grip and progress to 10 again

Just did 4 chin-ups. Next up, 5.
Harder than I would have thought when palms are facing out. It must be using a whole different set of muscles than when palms are facing in.
A chin-up is (excuse my language) a bitch! I feel like the motion relies on back muscles and, in my case, they are not developed. I did manage two full chin-ups (palms facing out) and stalled out halfway through the third one. I’m estimating 4 weeks to get to 4 chin-ups.
Chin-ups are when your palms are turned away from you—correct? I can do pull-ups easier than what I call chin-ups.
I got past four a long time ago. I took a break, and now I’m back up to two sets of seven chin-ups and two sets of seven pull-ups.
