have pen pals

well worth the effort i’d say. im still in contact with people i was writing to 5 years ago.

I want to build an long, trusting relationship with someone I have never met in person. I want it to be with someone I know only by a profile and a picture. Someone I think I could never be friends with in real life because I am too shy or I don’t think I am cool enough. I haven’t actually gone through with this because I’m afraid it won’t be safe.

or not hazards. I don’t know. I dared write to an old friend of mine, that I haven’t seen since even before I left the area where I lived 6 years ago. I wanted to do it such a long time ago, and hesitated. I quit hesitating lately, for many things. I had an answer when I came back home at noon, and she stayed apparently as she was. I think she’s the best friend I’ve ever had. I’ve known her since I was 4, or maybe before. She’s the only one of the friends I’ve had (with Fox, also), who’s never been afraid to tell me things frankly in the eye, even when she knew I would NOT like it. She’s the one I saw a UFO with, too! Maybe it’s worth it we keep in contact, I think. She left me a phone number, but for now, I prefer to write. Actually, it’s a very good surprise.

I keep this goal open, because I’m not against have more penpals, to 10. More that becomes too much, I believe.

It’s like I forgot I’ve got this on my list. I think it’s going to be a difficult goal, why? Because although I’m rather open (unless you intend to talk to me about hair and make up, or how you killed your last victim), yet, I need a connexion, spiritual connexion, and until now I haven’t found this with many people.

I have just finished writing my first letters! I received a letter from my pen pal in Australia and it was so fun to get—and to read. Getting mail from around the world is amazing but mosst amazing is getting to know new people! Thanks, Gemma, Gerard and Gabby! This is one I look forward to doing for years!

I bought stationary this evening so I am ready to write letters tomorrow—yeah!!!

I have found not one but 3 pen pals on 43 things! I am so excited! I just recieved my first letter and I didn’t realize just how much fun this was going to be. I am off to get stationary today-went looking yesterday just to findmy favorite neighborhood stationariers went out of business. I have been gone a couple of months but that was a real shocker-and I am so sad about it.
