How I did it: I just thought, asked friends with their opinions, surfed the internets, and narrowed it down to a few designs. Finding an artist won't hurt, either.
Now, to get the money in line to actually get the deed done!
Lessons & tips: Think deeply about what you want, since this is going on your body forever, or until you get it removed with a laser. Research a LOT. Take your time thinking and don't rush into this.
Resources: The internet. No, seriously. Finding images from the internets is tremendously helpful because it helps you get a better inner picture of what you feel fits.
My goals are to be a good mom when my baby is born. To treat my baby daddy good and get along with him especally when my baby is born. I also want to work at getting a tatto of my baby daddys name and my baby girls name under her foot prints when she is born. I want to be good to my mom and not get mad at her when I am in a bad mood. My other main goal is to finish school and get my G.E.D.
For several years, I have wanted to get a tattoo symbolizing my children. I finally got the perfect tattoo!
I took my children’s baby footprints to the tattoo parlor and the tattoo artist made the perfect tattoo for me. She used one of each childs’ footprints, placed them as if they are walking up my spine, and put their name next to the appropriate footprint.
My tattoo is absolutely amazing! And the most meaningful tattoo I could ever wish for.
