See the movie Serenity

or you won’t know what’s going on!

Great series, good movie. I just wish they hadn’t cancelled production of the TV series. I don’t watch much TV, but Firefly was awesome!

This was a great movie! Complex and interesting (and pretty) characters. Love, humor, drama, mystery, suspense, action… it’s got it all! I’ve heard of lots of people who watched this movie without ever watching Firefly & still “got” it and liked it a lot. :)

This movie is totally worth seeing, but watch Firefly first.

I actually didn’t do this, I saw it in theaters and while I had kinda heard about Firefly, I didn’t know much about it and still managed to immensely enjoy it. After seeing it, I went back and watched Firefly, but because I already knew some things like so and so has to still be alive or whatever, it hurt the experience. Firefly was still amazing, and I rewatched Serenity and really got to appreciate it more. I reccommend it to everyone really, It’s Science Fiction, but not nerdy Star Trek stuff. Serenity/Firefly is sci-fi done right.

Finally watched the movie, Serenity on VCD. I found it to be enjoyable, funny in all the right places with cool action sequence, blood and gore in typical Whedon style. I even got my brother in-law to watch it and he liked it too. Highly recommended for fans of Whedon’s work and perhaps you guys could comment on this.. don’t u think the lead character looks a bit like Angel? Btw, Bones start playing here next week, I’m gonna check it out mainly for David’s sake. :)

I have the DVD, but I’m afraid to watch it. I got afraid of watching DVDs lately. Unfortunately this isn’t a joke. I’m a very strange person ;) (Truth is: I just don’t find the time anymore. :-( )

is a creative genius, at least in my book. I love his TV shows and figured I’d check out this movie too. It’s already out on VCD & DVD. I’ll go and buy it when my next paycheck gets in. The reviews have been mixed so far, but I’ll just keep an open mind and find out for myself.
