In my opinion. I drank it first years ago, hated it, tried it again after I forgot how nasty it was and I hated it again. Sake produces a particularly nasty hangover.

Mmmmm… sake….
I don’t even have words to describe this- I’ve heard some people say it’s revolting, some people say it’s magic, and some people hesitate and say it’s “an acquired taste.” . . . Moi? J’adore. Something makes me wanna say “barley” but it’s distinctly wine-like… eh. Definitely worth the hunt for good sake, and now I wanna try it warmed, in a tiny little cup.

Sake just reminds me of the poet Ryokan. I hardly ever have it except when I eat at Wagamama. I think it would be dangerous to have it at home. I’d never get any work done.
I must admit, I don’t really like sake…but I do like sake sets—they’re so pretty.
I recommend trying dongdongju too!
If you get a chance, I recommend it. I really like cold sake, but beware – it will kick you on your butt!:)
Sake is so tasty… Especially when it’s warm… just don’t inhale too deeply when the cup is up to your mouth… it might make you cough.
