Get a recycling box

The next challenge is actually remembering to use it ;)

The council website is not clear about whether or not I’m elligible for a box, however I have discovered there are some community recycling bins very close by so I’m going to try to use them.

My boxes arrived yesterday and already I’ve started filling them up with diet coke cans and wine bottles – which to be fair is going to be the standard recycling matter from Hope Cottage.

Already it’s making me far more aware of the rubbish I create and how I can cut down. It feels like an important little step in the right direction.

I’ve just rung and ordered my recycling boxes so in theory I should have them to begin using in 3-4 weeks. However I’ve been down this road before which is part of the reason it’s taken so long to get done.
This time because I’m making a note of it all here, it should help me to keep chasing them up if I need to.
