How I did it: I have been poking around Macy's for a while because I wanted to use my gift cards to buy a purse.  I had been kind of eyeing this one in Green, so when I saw it at Marshall's for half price (in brown) I bought it.  I still have my gift cards though, so when I see "The Crown Jewel" that I really want (as my husband refers to it), I'll be ready.

Lessons & tips: Sometimes you just gotta buy what you want, although saving gift cards may soften the blow of some cute designer purses.

How I did it: I went into Marshall's and was walking around. I decided to take a look in their purse section but didn't really find anything that I liked enough to purchase.
