Look for people who do daycare

The only way I found one is by looking for home daycare providers and seeing if any would be willing to take my daughter at night. It worked! $40 for about eight hours was awesome!

Well, I’ve found two babysitters: one, a high school sister of a friend, which kind of works, except that she’s still in high school and so thus cannot stay out as late as I’d like-plus, she’s pretty high priced for Friday/Saturday nights. It’s why I’d prefer to find an older mom, who doesn’t have as much going on maybe.
My mom-friend neighbor also is kind enough to watch my daughter sometimes, but nowhere near often enough as I’d like. And family is too far! Still on the quest.

I would do if I had someone I trusted to watch my children for me. My husband and I would love to go together more. Luckily, I have a lot of family nearby, but they are often very busy or have plans of their own. I would do so many things I really want to do if I could just have a sitter to watch my kids every once in a while.
