i think splits are harder than people think and it just takes time. what i mean by that is people who can do splits think it’s easier because they can just do them and people that can’t have a rough time because they just aren’t flexible enough yet. for me i have ballet class 5 times a week so it’s gradually just getting lower and lower. i think it takes time and and patience. personally stretching in front of the tv or just around the house never really worked for me as well as being able to apply them and practice them in dance while i was warm…anyway, good luck everyone!

I started stretching every night in highschool so I could try out for drill team. Never tried out, but I can still do the splits.

I have been in gymnastics and dance since the time I could walk, and because of that, my muscles are naturally flexible. If I had stopped dancing, I wouldn’t be able to do them now. Concentrate on stretching your hamstrings while keeping both hips on the same level. Enjoy the picture of me doing middle splits.
I’ve been in gymnastics for a while and the easiest way to do a split is to get on your knees, pull one leg out in front of you and slide down into a split until it hurts and make sure your arms are up in a straight “T”. Hold it for 30 seconds and do it again! do it until you get it;)
I am the least flexible person ever i cant go far at all I cant do a cartwheel either nor can i do a handstand.. and it sucks majorly i swear all my friends have tried to teach me or they push me into the splits and they gave up
