i want to do this at the end of year 12 and when i leave my town. There are so many teachers i need to thank. I want to write a letter to the teachers that i respect the most because simply, they respected me back. Besides not many people bother writing letters (by hand) anymore. I think they will appreciate it because i understand all the hours that they give up for students. I personally would never want to be a teacher. I use to HATE them! I always thought they were out to get me. until i realised that they’re trying to help us. Not only do they have to teach but they have to discipline and listen to everyone’s opinion and always try to think of an answer. They wouldn’t want to know what was said behind their backs that’s for sure, because it’s not very nice.
Expressing myself by giving a card seemed more comfortable than saying face to face !
Offering your gratitude to the people who have contributed to learning experience is truly worth doing .
No matter how much I try to express – the knowledge, the love and respect I received is unparallel , the feeling of offering your appreciation is rewarding in itself .
Because so many people have taught me really wonderful things. Like the teacher in undergrad who made us write “freestyle” essays by hand I think bi-weekly, and we wrote poems and stuff like that, and she told me I could write and I think about her now. And so many other amazing people whose words and actions have meant so much in my life.
Where do I start?
So cool how much they’ve given me and how I sometimes discover this soooo long after. The goal is to make a habit of noticing and saying thanks.
I need to be more grateful and positive in general. Be upbeat, not bogged down. Hey, it’s a phase perhaps.
I really should just go for it, instead I plot and plan.
How do you say thank you?
