Like father, like daughter.

My dad had a great friendship with Dale and his staff. He made some really great display stands for some of Dale’s installations. I have always wanted to participate in glass blowing at Pilchuck School. I would settle for attending one of his open houses at the school or on his houseboat/gallery. Someday. I’m hoping MUCH sooner than later.
I stumbled upon a Chihuly exibit at the V&A museum in London in 2001. The stands my dad built for Dale where there and where displaying some of the most beautiful seaforms I’ve ever seen. It was one of the most special moments of my life. It was like my dad was there saying “hi” to me and my mom.
