i’m going to mark it off as finished. in january i’ll add another similar one to encourage myself to find a good church when i’m back in the u.k.. i didn’t realize what a big difference having a good church makes. i think i’ll be more picky when searching for a church next time.

How I did it: i hadn't realised how important finding a good church is. i actually enjoy going to church most of the time now, and find it very helpful. it is very important to find one where the teaching is biblical and the people are friendly and inclusive. i've found it helpful to share lifts with another person so i am accountable to someone, and to get involved in a bible study too. How I did it: While I still don't have a church to call home, I am in God's house every Sunday. Taking one evening to go back, and it instant became a habit. Read how I did it…

The third commandment (according to the Roman Catholic Church anyways) tells us to keep the Sabbath Holy…
“8 Remember the Sabbath day and keep it holy.
9 For six days you shall labour and do all your work.
10 But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; you shall not do any workâyou, your son or your daughter, your male or female slave, your livestock, or the alien resident in your towns.
11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that is in them, but rested the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the Sabbath day and consecrated it.”
Exodus 20:8-11
obviously things sometimes get in the way, and i am a regular attender. However I want it to be a priority that causes me to not allow any excuses to hinder me from doing this.
By doing this I hope to encourage more christian friendships into my life that will encourage me in my walk with God. <3

I went to church this past sunday.. Let’s see if I can go every Sunday for 6 weeks..
i’ve been meaning to go since the start
of sunday school (yea, we have the cool teacher
this year) but it’s been one thing or another.
first, it was pneumonia for two weeks. then i was out
of town. then we had a family deal. and i overslept (i went to youth group though), then i was in the hospital.
it’s now been a week since the hospital.
i’m going to be up early on sunday anyways (driving), so there’s no excuse for missing church this week.
R1A is doing the master cleanse .
how long it’s been.
there’s definately NO EXCUSES for it, none!
this sunday (most definately).
I haven’t been very religous, as my mum is buddhist and my father is christian. But living with my mum I’ve always heard about being buddhist, but I didn’t choose to follow any religion, I just kept an open mind. But now I think I want to start going to church and led a christian life, okay so I have sinned a lot, but im willing to change. So good luck to me!!
