be the best dad i can be

unfortunately this particular goal is heating up again. i am back in the situation of having to make some very tough decisions that i don’t want to have to make and it kinda sucks….

oh i have decisions to make about this goal. they’re are hard and not easy to grasp which are the best.

i really need some thoughts and prayers for guidance on this one.

sigh sigh sigh sigh sigh. this situation was not easy. and of course, me, the one who did nothing, is going to have to be the bad guy and take responsibility for the hard decisions that had to be made to keep the kiddo safe and stable.

well, i guess he places the burden on the shoulders of those strong enough to bear it.

good and truth will out eventually, i believe that.

that my counterpart took her version of this goal as seriously as i take mine.

part of achieving this goal is to realize that that is completely out of my control and i have to focus on me.

sometimes we have to make decisions for our kids that we know will make them sad in the short=term to keep them safe and make sure they are okay in the long run.

making those decisions is never easy.

the situation may work itself out in absolutely the best possible way given the circumstances.

i am very grateful that i am today, the kind of person who can put personal feelings aside and focus on what is the right and best thing to do, and then not be scared to follow through on it.

those qualities, i think will help me in being the best dad i can be/

it’s also tough when the choices are all hard and none of them are really clear….

it’s when they are suffering that this is the most critical.

this goal is of tantamount importance to me.

Realize how special it is that you have these wonderful children and always strive to love them a ton.
