learn about history

I have always had a strong interest in history and i am studying for higher this year! But i would like to expand what i am already learning.a famous person once said if if you know the events of the past, you can understand your present and that we never learn from history either! oh well thats not to say i will not!. I want to do this so i can be more cultured and because i have a strong interest about the past. (thats not to say i dont care about the future!)
