to me. I know it’s going to be hard to find this type of job. I also know it probably will not be very profitable. I don’t really care. This simple fact that I could go to work and make the world a better place makes up for any of the down sides. I wish more people had this outlook on life. It’s not about the size of your house or the MSRP of your car. It’s about being able to enjoy your work. I have a friend of a friend that works for The Invisible Children and I’m so envious. Check out their cause at www.invisiblechildren.com.
Right now I help teach people how to raise money for our mission. I work for a national non-profit organization, and as cheeze ass as it sounds, I feel really accomplished, and like I’ve stumbled across an amazing career.
yakuza who has missed me?
There are some things about the DNC that I don’t agree with, but for the most part I believe in most things. I definitely agree more with Democrats than Republicans though.
Find a work that cause no bad effects on others.
make a life that cause less bad effects in the people around you. recycle everything around you, not just the garbage, but also the garbage we all have in our mind.
send everything to the recycle bin,
then wake up every morning remembering that in the very oposite side of the earth you are now, people die, suffer, from things that we, the western civilization, we forgot all this.
all the suffering we found now, it’s when the internet is not working on the living room…or when there are no more cigs in the pack, or when we found the fridge empty, now go back to what you need to do, and never forget that there suffering and suffering, be abble to recognize the value, the chance, of the life you have in relation with another part of the world…
This is a long term open-ended search. To find gainful employment that is meaningful to my soul.
