Travel to China, see the sites, eat the food, buy things I don’t need because it’s cheap. Have fun.
How to travel to china
How I did it: Traveled with nine of my classmates to Beijing, Qinhuangdao, and Shanghai. Studied International Relations at Renmin Univeristy for 3 weeks and Yanshan University for a week.
Lessons & tips: Go off the beaten path! Travel to an original section of the Great Wall, it's so much more rewarding than a rebuilt one.
Resources: Eyewitness Travel Book- its the best guide I can recommend.

My friend is working in China, and I would be stupid not to visit her while she’s there. Just need to find a cheap flight and time to do it. Don’t wait around!
If you just want a budget tour, contact absolutechinatours.com and go to Hangzhou city.
Twice to adopt a baby girl and once to just have a fun vacation. All three experiences were amazing but I have to admit that I loved the first two a little bit more because I was blessed with a child each of those times.
China is spectacular and even if you’re not adopting, it’s a place everyone should visit at least once in their lifetime.
43 things had bizarre timing . . . I just got back from my first trip to China last week! It was an amazing time in Shanghai to do some business development work for my company. I just hope it won’t be the last . . .
My husband and I went to China for two weeks and had the most amazing time. Thank you very much China Focus Travel!! We toured Beijing (Great Wall, Forbidden City, Tian’anmen Square, Summer Palace, Hutongs, Olympic Village, Peking Duck Dinner, Rickshaw ride), Xi’an (Terracotta Warriors, Dumpling Banquet, Tang Dynasty dance show), Guilin (Li River Cruise, Ethnic show, Cormorant fishing), Suzhou (Silk Factory, Venice of the Orient, Garden of the Fishing Master) and Shanghasi (Bund, Shanghai museum, Chinese Acrobats, dinner with the Dai people). I could go on and on…we had the most amazing time!!! Do it!!
I’m getting a masters that would allow me to teach English classes in the U.S. Currently I have had enough education that they would consider me for teaching English as a second language in China. I figure I should get my MA and then spend a few months teaching and taking in the sights on my dream location.
I did it! I signed up for a two week tour of China ending with the solar eclipse in Jul ‘09. I figured that I will need to save 250.00/ month to cover cost of the trip and airfare (according to current rates).
