conduct an orchestra

BBC Proms 2009 has been announced! I am so excited! The arrangement of the Roman Trilogy is lovely!

Very true, music must be spread more throughout our world, as it is very important. Many underestimate the power of music as well as other artforms.

This is a dream of dreams…a goal like none I can envision. But how??? Self study? Win the lottery so I can afford further training? But I have been fascinated by orchestras and conducting for soooo long. I could use some advice. Or some encouragement, or about 30 to 50 people who play strings, brass, woodwinds, or percussion willing to be musical guinea pigs. I’m up for some Wolfgang.
Any volunteers????

i want to have my hair go crazy and people wondering what the hell my hand motions mean….yeah. :)

I conducted a piece for my high school’s concert band this spring called “Allerzeelen,” by Wagner. It was thrilling, so much practice went into it and it was one of my best experiences so far!

I am waiting for the day when I can make a 10,000 donation to the Boston Pops. One of the gifts for donating that much is that you get two hours of lessons with Keith Lockhart and the Pops. Then you get to conduct their theme song (Stars and Stripes Forever) at a live local concert.

I am already studying and practicing for it.

...and wear a tux with tails while doing it. Oh yeah.
