I’m running out of time…. 4 days to go to reach my goal!!!!!

This also includes finish my school app and turn it in before Nov. 1st! YIKES!!! I’m thinking I should probably hit the panic Button.. AHHHHH

Woot Woot My sister and I have the same date for testing next month. I know that there’ll be tons of people to share this with but I can’t think of anyone better to share this experience with.

The process took some time. Yes it was expensive for me but so what? – it’s worth it and pretty cheap if you think about it.

Other then my laziness to do this sooner(20yrs), I had an easy time other then a last minute verification of my finger prints with the FBI.

Went this saturday and got it taken care of. Granted… the office was empty because of the holidays but that was my luck and the people at the USCIS Gardena office were frinking fantastic! :)

Now? Have to wait for my appointment.

I got my citizenship when I was really young so I don’t really remember going through the process but now my husband is and it’s a huge pain! He has to go back to his country for about nine months but when he comes back he is going to have his greencard, hopefully everything will work out and his will be worth it as well. I just can’t believe how expensive it is!!!

So as it turns out… the price to get your US Citizenship will change after July 30th… The price will be almost $700 dollars… thats right $700. So a pretty big jump. So it will only make sense for those who are thinking about getting it.. take care of it NOW, because after the 30th it will be more difficult and even more expensive.

SO I think I recieved the Application Like 6 months AGo and I have ZERO time to fill it out… and it also cost over $400 to apply… so Time and Money seems to be the two factors to take into consideration….... I have neither of the two at the moment =/

When you start travelling, a lot of countries do not require a visa for the US citizens. . .
And no more INS, a definite bonus. . .

The Green Card processing won’t be done for another 2 years, then it’s another five until I can get citizenship. Looks like I won’t be voting for a president any time soon.
