I had $18 to spend on headphones and the headphones I wanted to get were, of course, $19.99. So I bought a pair I didn’t particularly want for $16 when I could have gotten them cheaper somewhere else, like Walgreens or something. But oh well, at least now I have headphones! I still need to get a set that’s actually meant for use at the computer – ie, a mic headset with a long cord instead of a Discman headset.
Man, fuck headphones.

I swear, headphones die faster than your typical houseflies. Currently I have the headset type, with the microphone on one ear, and they are starting to go. Also my rats chewed through the set I normally use for my CD player, so I am clearly in DIRE NEED OF HEADPHONES. Ideally I’d even like two sets – one for the comp and one for my CD player, so I don’t have to wear the set with the microphone on to like, the gym.
