then i register to vote!!!!
How I did it: I've been meaning to register one of these days but it just got delayed since I have my classes in the morning. I finally did it today when my mom encouraged me. I went to the COMELEC's office and waited for a very long time. It took me more than three hours to register! But I am proud of doing it on my own. I'm proud that I did not back out this time. gracielou105 wants to do lots of things!!!
How I did it: I printed the app forms in advance. Bring a valid ID with address and a photocopy just in case. Make sure you've been a resident of that area/district for at least 6 months. I've had it on my 43 things for quite a while now. I didnt vote during the last elections because I was apathetic about everything. Now I feel like I should do my part for my country. I guess you can say current events have also had a hand in helping me change my view… Read how I did it…
How I did it: I went to the Australian Electoral Commission website. I clicked how to enroll. I filled in the pdf, printed it, signed it and then scanned it to e-mail it to my local electorate which the AEC website found when I typed in my postcode. Read how I did it…
How I did it: It was so easy. I just went on the PA voter website, printed out the form, filled it out, and sent it in. It took about five minutes at the most. There really is no excuse for not doing this. It takes no time out of your day at all. Read how I did it…

How I did it: Well i think it is a joke when people dont vote because they are not bothered. I can say that I want to make a difference wherever posiible, even if that means just voting on polotics. So there was an election coming up in June of last year for the government elections, so i registered so i could vote for who i thought was right, and i personally believe i have made a difference in doing so. And it feels f*%King fantastic!!! It didn’t even take me 5 minutes – I only had to complete a very simple form, then the official scanned my ID document and there you go! I hope all my friends are registering/have registered as I write this. I’ve just spoken to my brother and he and his wife are on their way to their local registration station. And Mom’s going tomorrow.
Next year’s election is going to be a very important one. We’re fighting a war against corruption and incompetence in this country, and anybody who doesn’t register today or vote next year is deserting the battle!! LOL!! I do get carried away with this, don’t I?

The old man came up to me as I was walking down Campus Road. He had weird hair but an enthusiastic look in his eye, and pressed the clipboard upon me. Hm, register to vote?
“Only takes two minutes!” “Uh, okay.” I muttered.
It was as if my civic duty had personified itself as an benign elderly white man in an aloha shirt and then grabbed me by the arm to get my attention. Deep within me I knew the registration process wasn’t going to get any easier than this.
InkGirl is happy
I have the form, I just have neglected to fill it out and mail it in.
I am all set to go. I wonder if you have to bring your card with you? I think I lost mine lol.
I’ve always been registered in ND but I finally got around to applying for MN license today so I’m one step closer to getting registered to vote here.
