And I was chosen as one of the Junior Clinical Instructors (out of the 24 applicants, 16 of us were carefully selected), thank God!
My last three months (Jan, Feb and Mar) @ school will be the busiest but will be the most fun…;-) I’m absolutely looking forward to doing this new role.
All I can say is YAY! Congratulations to the rest of the newly selected JCIs! ;-)

Today, my groupmates and I are scheduled to meet at our adopted community and as planned, we will help them clean their surroundings. It’s called “Rabus”...

Yup, finally, I have my schedule. Thanks to Sir Yu for the encouragement. ;-)
What I do need right now is to review the powerpoint I made about Ms. Joyce Travelbee and her Nursing Theory. That’s my topic for next week.
Good luck to me! ;-)

and I was assigned to have my teaching demo on August 24, 26, 31 and September 2 as part of the selection criteria. Teaching demo gets 25% from the total of 100% and biggest portion of 40% comes from our Academic performance from first year up to fourth year (geee!). Passing grade to qualify for juniour clinical instructor is 88%. Will I pass?
Thinking of this gives me tachycardia!

An hour before the deadline, I was able to compose my application letter and shakily submitted it to our program coordinator. Whew.
Now..what gives me this nagging anxiety is the thought spinning in my mind about those panelists looking intently into my eyes and waiting for a satisfying answer.
Wake up Siena, it’s not happening yet.
Tomorrow, you can face your fears again. :-))
OK let me tell you what my real fear is…
What if one of the panelists asks me the reason why I am so afraid of handling IUFD?? That I can’t even do it because I have shaky legs and a fast heartbeat? Am I capable of becoming a junior CI when in fact, I couldn’t even bring myself to handle such situation?
hmm..

During our orientation, the Dean announced that the college is now open for applicants who want to become Junior Clinical Instructors. Hmm, it got me thinking..do I qualify?
I’d like to be involved in something that’s really worth my time and effort. I think this is a channel for me to promote this goal.
On the other hand, my legs are shaking with this thought (can I do it?). Should I apply?
