PhilipNeed to move up in stakes
I’ve been very successful in playing Omaha hi-lo (O8) tournaments (be they limit, PL, or NL) at smallish stakes, the $4 to $20 range. Now I need to intentionally work in more $20s and start taking occasional shots at $30s.
I know I’m running good, and I know that variance is a constant threat. For MTTs I’m not even sure what’s considered adequately bankrolled, at least 100 buy-ins I’d assume and probably more like 200 BIs. So that means I should learn to comfortably play in this $20 to $30 range, and occasionally even up to $40 or $50.
